How do I report an error?
Send the following through the contact form or to service@indianapoliscommercialrefrigeration.com:
- Page URL
- Exact heading, sentence, table row, or tool output in question
- What appears incorrect, outdated, unsupported, or misleading
- The correction you believe is needed
- A primary or otherwise authoritative source, when available
- Your name and organization, optional unless follow-up is needed
- Whether you have a commercial relationship connected to the issue
Do not submit private customer records, payment details, passwords, patient information, employee medical information, or confidential service documents unless the issue cannot be evaluated without them and a secure method has been arranged.
What happens after a correction is submitted?
A material report is compared with the page, cited source, publication record, and any relevant current authority. The editorial team may:
- Correct the statement
- Add missing context or limits
- Replace or add a source
- Remove an unsupported claim
- Change a table, tool, or methodology
- Ask for more information
- Keep the existing text when the submitted evidence does not displace it
- Temporarily remove a section while it is reviewed
We do not promise a fixed response time. Safety, regulatory, identity, privacy, broken-form, wrong-phone, and materially misleading issues receive priority.
Which changes are logged publicly?
The public log should include changes that materially affect a reader's decision or understanding, including:
- Incorrect law, rule, effective date, temperature, or regulator statement
- Incorrect manufacturer, model, alarm, maintenance, or equipment statement
- Cost methodology or range change
- Incorrect service territory, availability, phone, email, form, or request-process statement
- Incorrect publisher, compensation, provider, credential, authorization, or identity statement
- Repair-versus-replacement framework change
- Material tool formula, field, export, or privacy change
- Source withdrawal or replacement that changes a conclusion
- Significant consolidation, redirect, or change in query ownership where users may need context
Ordinary copyediting, design refinements, link styling, image compression, and code refactoring do not require a public entry unless meaning or function changes.

How should corrected dates appear on the affected page?
Use honest date fields:
- Keep the original publication date
- Change
dateModifiedonly for a material published change - Update
lastFactCheckedorlastVerifiedwhen the factual review is complete - Update the technical-review date only when the reviewer approves the revised scope
- Add a visible correction note near the affected section when the previous error was consequential
Do not update every page's date because the site deployed or a shared component changed.
