What we are
Indianapolis Commercial Refrigeration operates as a commercial refrigeration service request line. Service requests submitted through this line are routed to an independent local commercial refrigeration service provider when one is available and the request fits the provider's service area, equipment capability, EPA Section 608 certification scope (when refrigerant work may be involved), and current schedule. We are not positioned as the contractor itself. Operational specifics — licensing, insurance, EPA certifications, technician credentials, response time, ETA, and rate structure — belong to the dispatched provider and should be confirmed with you before service is scheduled and before any work begins.
What we route
Fourteen intake categories cover the commercial refrigeration equipment in use across Indianapolis food service and cold storage facilities — including walk-in cooler repair, walk-in freezer repair, commercial ice machine repair, restaurant refrigeration, grocery refrigeration, cold storage refrigeration, compressors and condensers, preventive maintenance, and emergency commercial refrigeration repair. The full per-category breakdown is on the Services page.
Service area
Coverage spans the Indianapolis metro and Central Indiana — Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks, Hancock, Boone, and Johnson counties. The full county-by-county and corridor coverage map is on the Service Area page. Submitting a request does not guarantee provider availability.
How this website maintains trust
We do not claim to be the dispatched contractor unless that is true. We do not publish fixed response-time guarantees, blanket insurance amounts, fabricated technician counts, or manufacturer-authorized claims that belong to the actual provider. Provider identity, availability, ETA, rate structure, documentation, licensing, insurance, and EPA Section 608 certification scope should be confirmed before service is scheduled.
Who this website is for
Restaurant owners, general managers, grocery operators, food-service directors, cold-storage operators, hotel kitchens, breweries, healthcare food-service teams, school food-service teams, and facility managers with commercial refrigeration equipment in the Indianapolis metro and Central Indiana.
Who this website is not for
Homeowners, residential refrigerator/freezer repair, residential ice makers, residential HVAC, heat pumps, automotive AC, RV/boat refrigeration, window AC units, DIY parts-only requests, and general appliance repair. Please contact a residential appliance repair company for those.
Manufacturer and brand disclaimer
Brand names appear on this site only to help operators identify equipment and describe service requests. No manufacturer affiliation, endorsement, warranty authorization, or factory certification is claimed unless confirmed directly with the assigned provider.
Food safety and EPA awareness
Commercial refrigeration equipment is used in facilities that often operate under health-department, HACCP, and insurance requirements, and certain refrigerant work is regulated by the EPA. For work that may involve attaching gauges, adding refrigerant, recovery, leak repair, compressor replacement, or other activity that could release refrigerant, the assigned provider can confirm appropriate EPA Section 608 certification before work begins. For food-safety questions — health-department documentation, HACCP expectations, temperature recovery procedures — the operator's food-safety authority and the assigned provider are the right decision-makers, not this website.
Content accuracy
Content on this site is written for clarity and is reviewed periodically. References to FDA Food Code temperatures, EPA Section 608 certification, brand names, and equipment categories are informational and are not a substitute for the operator's food-safety program, the assigned provider's scope, or the applicable regulatory authority. If any wording on the site appears inaccurate, please email service@indianapoliscommercialrefrigeration.com.
Site operator
This website and the commercial refrigeration intake line are operated by Indianapolis Commercial Refrigeration. The operator is the publisher of the website and intake line; it is not the contractor performing repair work. Repair, parts, pricing, scheduling, invoicing, warranty, documentation, and safety procedures are handled by the assigned independent local commercial refrigeration service provider.
